NY will always be home, and I love it even when I don't, heh. I'll be back later this summer, maybe we connect this time :-)

Congratulations on the graduate and may you keep your sanity juggling school schedules and time zones 😉! Love hearing about your recent NYC visit and like you my definition of home has evolved over time.

Thank you Regina and congratulations right back to you and yours! I'd love to hear more about your definition of home - and you've got a point, maybe it's never going to be a fixed thing, maybe the idea/concept of home is multiplicitous and evolving instead of finite. 🤔

Nope, I mean, I don't think I've actually ever seen anyone do it outside of on TV or in movies but then again I'm never up and outside early enough to see it practiced in real life - but it reminds me of watching older folks do tai chi (something else I've been wanting to try forever) in that park near the Manhattan Bridge in China Town when I was growing up. For me I think the old timey-ness is a for sure part of the appeal 😆

Hanging tight… lots of organizing. We are very active in Jewish Voice for Peace and Community Voices Heard. Every day new horrors but it is what keeps me sane. Recovering from hip replacement ( the parts wear out!) and enjoying my grandkids … soon to be 10 and 5, and my mischievous 3 yr old Golden-doodle

Wishing you a speedy recovery! Thank you for sharing Jewish Voice for Peace and Community Voices Heard Tina. I just searched both organizations on the web and learned JVP is (according to their website) "...the world's largest Jewish organization standing in solidarity with Palestine." and CVH is (also according to their website) "...a Black and brown-led, power-building organization committed to fighting for dignity for people with low incomes and all New Yorkers." Good information to have. Enjoy the grandbabies! I've got a household full of teenagers! And what's the Golden-doodles name?

Hiiii Tina :-) He's taller than both of us and off to college when the summer is done. And yes, holding tight in Tokyo for the foreseeable future but not without time in the States. We had to do some serious juggling with friends and a babysitter to watch the twins who are still in school here, but Ian and I were able to get to the ceremony! How are you these days?
