I am relieving my natto tasting experience. I too love Okra but I gagged (in a restaurant) when I opened my mouth to have my taste buds meet my olfactory senses. Can’t do it.
My two kids (3 and 6years old) LOVE natto. They would ask for it even for snack! My husband is a huge fan as well. He even wanted to do a Natto trip on a motorbike around Japan and write a book about it. I am more on the once in a while type (lol).

Tried Natto for the first time 14 years ago and didn’t do so again for another 10 🤪. It is an acquired taste for sure.
I think I would call it "Notto"---not an okra fan! Great read!
